To all God’s people here at Trinity – and beyond,
It’s already been a few of weeks since I’ve moved here to be the new pastor at Trinity. Most of the boxes have been unpacked (or stashed away somewhere). I’m starting to figure out where things are and how to get places. Yet as the “new guy,” allow me to introduce myself: I hail from Michigan, where I was born and raised. I graduated in 2004 from Concordia University, River Forest (now called Chicago). Then I went on to graduate from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri in 2008. From there God called me to be the pastor at a small church (called Grace) in a small town called Oberlin (Ohio). I’ve been blessed with a wife (Jen) and four kids (Elijah, Matt, Caleb, and Simon). I enjoy jogging, reading, landscaping, and coaching youth sports. |

I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing what God will do together among us. I don’t mean that lightly. I really am looking forward to getting to know you. And I love to witness and be a part of what God does among His people. It’s a beautiful thing…
